TAMPA (CN) - Former NBA star Matt Geiger demands $21 million from Global Asset Holdings, which he says backed out of a contract to buy his house. Geiger claims Global agreed on Nov. 27, 2007 to pay him $21 million within 90 days, then refused his request in December to let him sell it to someone else for $15 million. Then, Geiger says, Global stiffed him for the $21 million.
Geiger demands specific performance of contract. He is represented in Federal Court by William Hughes III with Pennington, Moore, Wilkinson of Tallahassee.
