MANHATTAN - Having just shuttered the lucrative personal-injury firm Napoli Bern Ripka Shkolnik under a cloud of scandal, attorney Marc Bern and his wife have filed a $8 million summons with notice for defamation against his former law partner Paul Napoli. Napoli's wife, a fellow attorney who just filed a defamation suit of her own, is also named as a defendant to Bern's case in Manhattan Supreme Court.
