Federal prosecutors claim DNP Creations, of Newburgh, N.Y., had 5,325 pairs of earrings and 300 necklaces shipped to it from China, bearing bogus Chanel trademarks. Customs seized the goods in Alaska and fined DNP $1.3 million, but it hasn’t paid, according to the complaint in Anchorage Federal Court.
