N.Y. Court OK’s Microsoft Antitrust Settlement

NEW YORK (CN) - A New York appellate division has upheld the settlement of a class action against Microsoft Corp. over its alleged monopoly of the software industry. The court called the settlement "fair, reasonable and adequate," and said it appropriately covers the two-year period before the district court imposed "significant restrictions" on Microsoft's anti-competitive behavior.
