N.Y. Appellate Divisions

ATTORNEYS, FAMILY LAW - An attorney represented appellant, a child's uncle, in the family court. The New York Appellate Division found that disqualification of appellant's attorney was properly allowed because the attorney let members of his law firm interview the subject child and procured an affidavit from the child without the legal guardian's knowledge and consent. Affirmed. See ruling.
