N.Y. Appellate Divisions

ATTORNEYS – The appellate division found that a legal malpractice claim is not barred by the statute of limitations because it alleges that defendants provided continuous representation by advising plaintiffs about rent regulation. Based on this advice, plaintiffs failed to take appropriate steps to assure the property would be free from rent regulation. The court ruled to reinstate the claims for legal malpractice.
