N.Y. Appellate Divisions

ATTORNEYS - A New York appellate division suspended attorney Terrence Patrick Tormey from practicing law for 18 months based on discipline imposed by the New Jersey Supreme Court. The charges stemmed from Tormey's representation of an elderly Portuguese man, who had a limited understanding of English, in the sale of his home to another client. The elderly man never received the money from the sale.
