N.M. Supreme Court

ATTORNEYS - (Per curiam.) The New Mexico Supreme Court refused to rehear the disciplinary action against attorney Stuart L. Stein, who was recommended for disbarment for his "repeated and intentional misconduct" while representing an incompetent client and his wife. While he purported to represent both, he filed two lawsuits that sought to drastically alter the husband's estate in favor of the wife. He also failed to notify the court about his conflicts of interest.
