A federal judge denied a blues singer's motion to dismiss a declaratory judgment action brought by the musical group formerly known as Lady Antebellum, which seeks a ruling that it is not violating the singer's purported trademark rights by using the brand name Lady A. The band did not engage in inappropriate gamesmanship by filing the lawsuit after rejecting the singer’s $10 million offer to settle all claims.
