Murder of a Child

A federal court dismissed malicious prosecution and other claims against a deputy sheriff and a county prosecutor brought by a Nick Hillary, who was found not guilty in the murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips in Potsdam, New York. The court found there was no evidence of a conspiracy to frame the man.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A federal court dismissed malicious prosecution and other claims against a deputy sheriff and a county prosecutor brought by Nick Hillary, who was found not guilty in the murder of 12-year-old Garrett Phillips in Potsdam, New York. The court found there was no evidence of a conspiracy to frame the man.
