MTV Cheated On Theme Music, Man Says

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Viacom and MTV cheated him by using his audition tape as theme music for the "Trick My Truck" series without telling him, and paying him just $500 for the audition, Patrick Giurbino claims in Superior Court.

Giurbino says the defendants have broadcast his tune at least 39 times.

He demands damages for fraud, concealment, unjust enrichment, intentional misrepresentation, misappropriation, and other violations. He's represented by Walter Batt of West Hollywood.
