Mr. World Fitness Sues Whole Foods

LOS ANGELES (CN) - Six-time Mr. World Fitness winner Franco Carlotto says he broke two teeth after eating a spoonful of Whole Foods Market's organic, high-fiber cereal that contained a "rock-like substance."

Carlotto says in Superior Court that he was eating the cereal on Sept. 10, 2008 when he bit down on something described as being the "same color and texture as the cereal," but "certainly not the same consistency."

He says he "immediately felt a sharp pain to his mouth," and noticed two of his upper left teeth were cracked and broken.

Carlotto seeks unspecified damages for what he says was Whole Foods negligence.

He is represented by Howard Gorin.
