Mother Sues DEA Agent for Shooting

McALLEN, Texas (CN) - A DEA agent shot 27 times at an unarmed boy he thought was trying to steal his car, "ripping off the right side of his face" and also wounding him in the shoulder and chest, his mother claims. She says agent Henry Colin lied to investigators, and that the DEA refused to follow its own procedures in its inadequate investigation.

The boy and his mom are represented in Federal Court by Raymond Thomas.
