FRESNO, Calif. - Real estate broker Jyoteshna Karan et al. defrauded lenders of millions of dollars in at least 25 properties, federal prosecutors say; click headline to see the defendants.

Here are the defendants: Jyoteshna Karan aka Jyoti Patel aka Jyoteshna Prasad; Praveen Singh; Phul Singh; Sunita Singh; Nani Isaac; Martin Bahrami; and Mahendra Prasad.

Karan owned Royal Realty, in Modesto, which is not named as a defendant.
