More Foreign Entities Need Export Licenses

WASHINGTON (CN) - Twenty entities have been added to the list of those requiring a U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security export license to receive exports, reexports or transfers from the United States. The entities have been determined by the federal government to be "acting contrary to the national security or foreign policy interests of the United States," and should not receive weapons, or items used for warfare.

The entities are listed under six destinations: Cyprus, Greece, Iran, Syria, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.

The newly listed entities include 10 individuals, nine airlines, and a finance company.

The agency also reviewed the list and made additional changes.
