More Corruption Allegations in New York

MANHATTAN (CN) - Gov. David Paterson demanded that the state's entire 12-member ethics panel resign after the state Inspector General issued a report that found the panel's director leaked information to and aide to then-Gov. Eliot Spitzer. Herbert Teitelbaum allegedly told Spitzer's aide Robert Hermann about the Commission on Public Integrity's investigation of travel records of state Senate Majority Leader Joseph Bruno. Spitzer set up the Commission in 2007 to try to clean up Albany.
