Montana’s grizzlies

MISSOULA, Mont. — A federal court Montana ordered the U.S. Forest Service to not implement the Ripley Project, a vegetation management effort in the state, after environmentalists showed the agency did not prepare environmental impact statements or conduct a cumulative-effects analysis regarding how the project would affect grizzly bear populations.
