Montana Absentees

HELENA, Mont. — The Montana Supreme Court upheld an injunction against a state law that restricts the delivery of absentee ballots by persons other than the elector. However, the election-day ballot deadline requiring absentee ballots to be returned to local election officers no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day shall remain in effect for the November 3, 2020 general election.
