CHICAGO (CN) - A mother says a school bus driver allowed a 12-year-old boy to sexually attack her disabled daughter and refused to stop the attack or open the bus door as the mom stood outside it for 5 minutes while the sex attack continued. When she finally was allowed onto the bus, the mother says, the bus driver handed her a cell phone, upon which the school principal apologized for the sexual attack the bus driver had just allowed to happen.
The mother and girl are represented in Cook County Court by Kenneth Siegan.
They sued The Board of Education of the City of Chicago, Laidlaw Transit, the school bus driver, a school bus monitor and a schoolteacher.
