MINEOLA, N.Y. (CN) - A mother says her son was shot to death at a birthday party at the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Center in Rockville Centre, N.Y., and blames the organization for his wrongful death. Andrea Robinson says a security guard hired to work his own son's birthday party provided guests with alcohol.
Robinson says the guard violated the King Center's no-alcohol policy, which "directly contributed to the fatal shooting" of her son.
She is represented in Nassau County Court by Kenneth Mollins.
