The Ninth Circuit ruled that a lower court properly certified a class of minor league baseball players in California who claim they were underpaid and not compensated for off-season work, including spring training. 

SAN FRANCISCO – The Ninth Circuit ruled that a lower court properly certified a class of minor league baseball players in California who claim they were underpaid and not compensated for off-season work, including spring training. 

The circuit court also reversed the lower court’s refusal to certify classes of the ball players for claims of unpaid work in Arizona and Florida.
