MINNEAPOLIS — Per the terms of a settlement agreement between journalists and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and Minnesota State Patrol, a federal court in Minnesota approved a monitored six-year injunction, which prohibits police responding to civil unrest or protests from arresting or threatening to arrest members of the press without probable cause, using physical force or chemical agents against them, or seizing or intentionally damaging their equipment.
