‘Mimosa’ sans champagne

BROOKLYN — A federal court in New York tossed a false advertising class action against Molson Coors, which allegedly misled consumers into thinking its Vizzy Mimosa Hard Seltzer drink contained actual champagne. The court rules that the majority of the public would understand that, though “mimosa” is in the name, the hard seltzer beverage would not contain champagne.
