OAKLAND, Calif. - A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit Wednesday against the University of California, Berkeley, by four Bay Area residents who were injured in the riots protesting a scheduled speech by conservative figure Milo Yiannopoulos.
U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken said that the plaintiffs did not show sufficient evidence that the university's riot-response plan was indifferent to their safety.
