Mifepristone challenge

AMARILLO, Texas — A federal court in Texas permits a generic pharmaceutical laboratory to intervene in Idaho, Kansas and Missouri’s challenge to the FDA’s 2019 generic approval of mifepristone and several regulations related to the progesterone-blocking medicine used to terminate pregnancies. The states no longer challenge the approval but the lab has an independent reason to intervene.
