Middle Initial Leads To Defamation Claim

HAMILTON, OHIO (CN) - John R. Jones claims Cox Newspapers defamed him by publishing his photo on Page 1 of the JournalNews, misidentifying him as John P. Jones, who had been arrested and charged with 24 counts of child pornography. John R. says in Butler County Court that he was arrested in January 2007 and charged with domestic violence and abduction, and the JournalNews defamed him by publishing his photo in its March 2007 story about John P. Jones.
