Michigan Appeals Court

TROY, Mich. (CN) - A Michigan appeals court allowed the Department of Transportation to pursue its negligence action against a truck owner after a liquefied petroleum gas tank detached from the trailer and exploded. The department was awarded $658,000 from the truck owner's insurance, but sought to recover the rest of the $2 million it paid for repairs.
