SAN DIEGO (CN) – Two members of the Arellano-Felix drug cartel were sentenced on Monday to decades in federal prison. Jesus Labra-Aviles was sentenced to 40 years and ordered to forfeit $1 million, and Armando Martinez-Duarte was sentenced to 18 years.The cartel, formerly one of the world’s most violent, shipped tons of cocaine and marijuana to the United States.
