Merrill Lynch Plays Dirty, Fired Worker Says

CLEVELAND (CN) – When a top-earning, 63-year-old employee refused Merrill Lynch’s pressure to retire so it could replace him with younger workers who would earn smaller commissions, Merrill Lynch filed a phony criminal complaint against him to force his retirement, Louis Telerico claims in Federal Court.

Telerico demands lost wages and punitive damages for age discrimination, tortious interference, unfair competition. He is represented by Avery Friedman and Andrew Kabat.
