Mental Anguish

A federal court in Texas dismissed a lawsuit brought against the U.S. government by the estate of a man seeking mental anguish damages after his mother was killed in the 2017 mass shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas. The estate failed to state a claim arising from a “knowing violation of statute.”
