Meet and confer

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Defense attorney John Whitefleet must pay $2,000 to a federal court in California, which sanctioned him for repeatedly delaying hearings and refusing to meet and confer with opposing counsel to fulfill the court’s discovery orders. This same judge sanctioned Whitefleet for $500 in a separate case, also for refusing to meet and confer.
