Medical company can’t dodge product liability claims

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — A federal court in West Virginia denied a medical tech firm’s attempt to dismiss a product liability suit brought by a patient whose bowel was perforated by an overheated snare on an electrosurgical generator it makes.
