A boy with hemophilia got severely ill with serratia marcescens blood poisoning from contaminated "Sierra Prefilled" syringes, his father claims in Raleigh, N.C., Federal Court.

The family sued Accredo Health Group, Hemophilia Resources of America, Hemophilia Health Services, Hemophilia Resources of America NC, Medco Health Solutions, AM2PAT dba Salient Healthcare Technology dba Sierra Prefilled, and AM2PAT president Dushyant M. Patel.
