A woman claims Dr. Jonathan Hall committed malpractice by submitting a fraudulent report, without examining her, which co-defendant Kaiser Permanente Medical Group used to deny her disability claim, and that Hall later withdrew his letter, conceding her point. She demands $1 million in Alameda County Court, Hayward.

A woman says her hands have been permanently injured by injections of the eczema drug Elidel, injections of which the defendants persuaded her to submit to in a study of its effectiveness. She sued Dr. Nathalie Provost, Novartis Pharma Canada, and Innovardem Recherches, in Montreal Superior Court.
