A class-action complaint in Orange County Court, Calif., claims these defendants falsely claim that their nursing facilities comply with laws and regulations: Sun-Mar Health Care, Anaheim Healthcare Center, Bartlett Care Center, Courtyard Health Care Center, Gibraltar Convalescent Hospital, Inland Medical Enterprises, and Monterey Park Convalescent Hospital.

Catholic Healthcare West killed a patient at its Bruceville Terrace Skilled Nursing Facility by giving him a morphine drip at 100 mg per hour instead of the prescribed 1 mg per hour, the late Zeb Rudolph's family claims in Sacramento Superior Court.
