MANHATTAN (CN) - MIG Inc. fka Metromedia International Group demands $140 million from the Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison law office, alleging malpractice in its work in a 1997 "Certificate of Designation of 7.25% Cumulative Convertible Preferred Stock." MIG claims the law firm's work had "numerous mistakes and errors in draftsmanship, coherence and professionalism".
MIG's federal complaint cites a June 5 Delaware Chancery Court judgment in this matter, which MIG says it is appealing.
