PASADENA, Calif. — A California law banning Medi-Cal drug reimbursements for “safety net” providers like AIDS Healthcare Foundation that buy drugs at federal discounts doesn’t violate equal-protection guarantees under the U.S. or California Constitutions, the Ninth Circuit ruled Tuesday.
