McDonald’s Employees

The Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of McDonald’s in a class action dispute in which employees claimed they were denied overtime premiums, meal breaks and rest breaks. 

SAN FRANCISCO – The Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of McDonald’s, affirming summary judgment against a class of employees who say they were denied overtime premiums, meal breaks and rest breaks. 

Under California law, McDonald’s cannot be classified as an employer of its franchisees’ workers.
