McDonald's Employees

<span style="font-weight: 400;">The Ninth Circuit <a href="http://www.courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/mcdonalds.pdf"><strong>ruled</strong></a> in favor of McDonald’s in a class action dispute in which employees claimed they were denied overtime premiums, meal breaks and rest breaks. </span>

SAN FRANCISCO – The Ninth Circuit ruled in favor of McDonald’s, affirming summary judgment against a class of employees who say they were denied overtime premiums, meal breaks and rest breaks.

Under California law, McDonald’s cannot be classified as an employer of its franchisees’ workers.
