Mayfair Group’s Ex-CEO Charged with Fraud

MANHATTAN (CN) - The former CEO of Mayfair Capital Group was arrested and charged with defrauding an investor of $2.75 million by lying about how he would use the money and the other financing he claimed to have received for his business. Stephen R. Green, 45, of Locust Valley, N.Y., faces two counts of wire fraud and two counts of securities fraud, federal prosecutors said.
