WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. (CN) - A psychiatrist seduced and gave herpes to a married woman he was treating and she passed it to her husband, the husband claims in Westchester County Court.
Carl Levine says Dr. Robert Werboff concealed his infection while having a sexual relationship with Levine's wife. He claims Werboff began treating his wife as a patient in 2000, and she contracted herpes in 2007. Levine says his wife is the only person from who he could have contracted the disease.
Levine seeks punitive damages for negligence, fraud and malpractice. He is represented by Dorothy Finger with Finger & Finger.
