CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (CN) - A man was charged with felony assault after he allegedly bit off the earlobe of a romantic rival. Christopher Beal, 23, was charged with felony assault and burglary and is jailed on $50,000 bond, police said.
Beal and the other man were arguing over a woman and got into a fight and Beal allegedly bit off the other man's earlobe. Police recovered the earlobe, but doctors were unable to reattach it.
