Major League Fight Over Baseball Cards

MANHATTAN (CN) - Topps sued Upper Deck in Federal Court, claiming its rival ripped off the distinctive trade dress from Topps' 1970s-era baseball cards, violating copyright. This 15-page filing contains an additional 86 pages of attachments - most of them baseball cards.

Topps says Upper Deck's 2009 baseball cards were patterned after Topps' 1971, 1975 and 1977 cards, and lists 19 specifics ways in which Upper Deck allegedly did that.
