Magazine Lied To Induce Sale, Buyer Says

HACKENSACK (CN) - Advantage Media & Communications claims Promenade Magazine lied about its finances and debts to induce Advantage to buy it for $775,000. Advantage says it should be excused from making a final, $325,000 balloon payment for the 75-year-old semi-annual mag, in Bergen County Court.

Advantage also wants punitive damages. It is represented by Ian Marx with Greenberg Traurig of Florham Park, N.J.
