Made In forever chemicals

AUSTIN, Texas — Consumers who sued the cookware company Boston Foundry, which makes the popular Made In Cookware brand, for telling them its nonstick products lacked forever chemicals faced a partial setback in a Texas federal court. They may not bring their deceptive advertising claim over statements the cookware is “made without PFOAs,” since the products actually do have a different forever chemical than PFOAs. But copy indicating the cookware is “safe” and “100% non-toxic” raises “fact-intensive question[s]” that survive summary judgment.
