Luthier Sues Acoustic Guitar Magazine

CHICAGO (CN) - Acoustic Guitar Magazine twisted and so poorly edited an article it requested from luthier R.E. Bruné that it damaged his reputation and made it look, falsely, as though Bruné endorsed a competitor's guitars, Bruné claims in Federal Court. He claims the article in the January 2008 edition on the Hauser family, which made guitars for Andres Segovia, was twisted so as to promote one of the mag's major advertisers, Guitar Salon International, dba Tornavoz Music. He demands an apology and damages for fraud. See complaint.
