Logging v. Owls

EUGENE, Ore. — The U.S. Forest Service illegally approved logging of 22,600 acres of Umpqua National Forest — the Loafer Timber Sale — despite its own biological assessment that the logging would hurt northern spotted owl habitat, Cascadia Wildlands claims in Federal Court.
