Logging Projects

A federal court in California denied the Environmental Protection Information Center’s motion for a preliminary injunction to halt logging projects in the Mendocino National Forest and allow only the felling of trees that are “imminently likely to fall” into a road or other developed area.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – A federal court in California denied the Environmental Protection Information Center’s motion for a preliminary injunction to halt logging projects in the Mendocino National Forest and allow only the felling of trees that are “imminently likely to fall” into a road or other developed area.

The court ruled the environmental protection group has “not established much, if any, irreparable harm.”
