BROOKLYN (CN) - Day care teachers locked a boy in a closet at school, scaring the daylights out of him, his mother claims in court.
Gabrielle Henmings claims Pinocchio Children's Palace employees Amellia Samuda and Shandra Fal locked her son in a closet on May 14, at the day care center in Brooklyn.
She claims the boy suffered "pain, shock, mental anguish, humiliation, emotional, psychological and physical injuries."
Henmings claims the day care's officials failed to act though it had "actual and constructive notice of the violent, criminal and dangerous propensities of the teachers, instructors and paraprofessionals/teacher's assistants present at the time."
She seeks damages for negligence, false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
She is represented by Talisman, Delorenz & Pinnisi.
