BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Finding the lower court was wrong to dismiss the case as untimely, the Alabama Supreme Court reinstated claims against law firm Balch & Bingham filed by a lobbyist convicted of bribing a state lawmaker who says the firm assured him the payments were legal.
